REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
Okaloosa Public Arts invites all artists to submit up to three works of art depicting your choice of subject matter to be professionally judged and exhibited on all three floors of the Okaloosa County Administration Building in Shalimar from September 7, 2021 through September 2022. Prizes will be awarded at an opening reception in the Administration Building first floor lobby at 1250 Eglin Parkway in Shalimar on September 10. Reception begins at 2:00pm with awards at 3:00pm. Please refer to guidelines below or go to https://www.okaloosapublicarts.org for more information and to enter online. Please read and follow instructions carefully. No images are required with entry.
Deadline for Entry: August 13, 2021 (NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED)
Cost: $35.00 for up to 3 works of art.

Artwork previously shown in OPA shows is not eligible. Bas-Relief or other wall-mounted or free-standing sculptures are not eligible. Artwork will remain on the Administration Building walls for one year. If you sell a piece during this time frame, you must replace it on the wall with another piece similar in size. Work must be family friendly. (No nudes or questionable words) Any work deemed inappropriate at check-in will not be hung in the show.
Artwork must be framed and ready to hang with wire for hanging or gallery wrapped with finished edges. No saw-tooth hangers will be accepted. Artwork should not exceed 36 x 60 framed. Artwork must be able to be handled by one installer.

DISCLAIMER: Your art will hang in a public space, OPA will insure artwork at the published value, not to exceed $500. By entering, you are agreeing to pick up and drop off responsibilities and handling all business transactions should buyers contact you with interest in purchase. Okaloosa Public Arts receives no commission on artworks sold.
