Today

Today OPA is looking to the future. OPA recently sponsored banners that were hung in downtown Fort Walton Beach in Cinco Bayou. These banners display artwork from Okaloosa County's talented high school students.

Currently, OPA is sponsoring another juried art show at the Administrative Building in Shalimar. Please see the "Call to Artists" tab for more information.

An exciting project is coming up as well...OPA plans to sponsor "Happy Herons", three-dimensional, five foot tall herons to be displayed throughout Okaloosa County. They will be painted by local artists. We are awaiting approval from the county and cities, but the herons have just been purchased! Stay tuned for more information! The herons will be a great way to bring art to our community in a different way, and shine a light on the talent in our community.
