Today

Today OPA is looking to the future. OPA recently sponsored banners that were hung in downtown Fort Walton Beach in Cinco Bayou. These banners display artwork from Okaloosa County's talented high school students.

Currently, OPA is sponsoring another juried art show at the Administrative Building in Shalimar. Please see the "Artist's Choice" tab (and honorable mentions) for more information.

An exciting project is coming up as well...OPA is sponsoring "Emerald Coast Herons", three-dimensional, five foot tall herons to be displayed throughout Okaloosa County. They will be painted by local artists (see herons tab). The herons have been purchased and will arrive Oct. 19 ! Stay tuned for more information! We should be ready to install them in January. The herons will be a great way to bring art to our community in a different way, and shine a light on the talent in our community.
